Todd Southard
Pilot Point Independent School District
Todd Southard is the Superintendent of Pilot Point ISD, a position that he has held for the past three years. Before being named Superintendent of School, Mr. Southard was the principal of Pilot Point High School for six years. With a combined total of twenty-six years in public education, Mr. Southard has served as a superintendent, high school principal, middle school principal, high school assistant principal, and a teacher and coach.
Mr. Southard's family bleeds orange and black. Rarely will you see him not wearing a Pilot Point polo shirt! His family is also proud to be Bearcats. His wife, Jodi, is a Speech Language Pathologist at Early Childhood Center, Pilot Point Middle School, and Pilot Point High School. His two sons, Cooper and Avery, are in the 9th grade and 5th grade respectively. The Southard family is heavily involved with PPYSA, either through serving on the board or coaching basketball and baseball. In their spare time--which is rare--they love to hook up their fifth wheel and travel across the country or head out to Lake Ray Roberts and throw a bunch of kids around on a tube.
